How to change Outlook.com password with the old name Hotmail
To change the password for the Hotmail account, follow the steps below.
Log in to the Hotmail account first and click on the gear icon in the top right corner. From the pop-up menu, click Options.
Click Account details under the heading altında Manage your account na on the left side of the page that opens .

The form shown above will appear. Type the phone number you have already verified for your Hotmail account here and click Next.
Thus, a verification code will be sent to your phone via SMS. Enter this code as described above.
This will allow you to change the Hotmail password and the page that appears below will be opened.

On this page, type your current password, the old password that you have already used in the top box.
